Welcome to Livestock Happenings information page. This is where you will check to see what is taking place during the year in the Livestock Department of the Southwest Florida and Lee County Fair.

Important Dates:

Sunday, October 25, 7:00 am – 11:00 am – Swine Weigh In
Monday, November 2, 7:00 pm – Mandatory Small Animal Meeting (do not bring animals)
Monday, November 16, 7:00 pm– Mandatory Swine Meeting
Tuesday, November 17, 7:00 pm – Mandatory Beef Breeding & Steer Meeting
Thursday, November 19, 6:30 pm – Mandatory Goat Meeting
Thursday, November 19, 7:30 pm – Mandatory Horse Meeting
Saturday, December 5, 7:00 am – 11:00 am – Mandatory Small Animal Check – Bring animals which have been registered. Rabbit tattoos must be done prior to this date. State Inspectors will be checking the poultry.
Thursday, December 10 - Program Book Ads are due

Swine Weigh-in: Sunday, October 25th from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Enter thru Gate #1 off Old Bayshore Road. Make sure you bring your bill of sale and 3 Buyer Letters (stamped but not sealed). You MUST be in line by 11:00.

A Premise I.D. number is required on all registrations. Call 850-410-0900 to register by phone or the application is available at www.doacs.state.fl.us/ai/adc/adc_nais.shtml

Please note the weigh in dates are on a Sunday which is different than in past years. Also, the horse, goat, beef breeding and small animal registrations are due earlier this year.
